Layering into Summer ...

If you will recall, I love to layer in the winter months. Well friends, layering does not have to stop in the spring. One of my favorite looks for the spring is to layer a summer dress over a white tee shirt or white tank top. This gives you the versatility to wear summer dresses in the spring months where it may not be warm enough to wear them alone.

Finding the Perfect Nude Shoe ...

Yesterday I was talking to GRITS about helping her find the perfect nude shoe for summer. I thought I would share my finds with you all because I think a nude shoe is a classic wardrobe staple. For summer you can easily do either a closed toe or peep-toe pump in the nude color. This list includes nude shoes of all price points.

Summer Dresses

It seems as if the majority of emails I get are regarding summer weddings (if you've emailed me I will eventually respond- I am always behind on emails). Either someone is going to a wedding or wedding events and needs the perfect dress. Today I have compiled some of my favorite summer dresses to aide those needing help picking out a perfect dress for a summer wedding.

Trend on the Horizon

An up and coming trend for 2010 is none other than the CLOG. I am really not sure how I feel about this trend. I am all for clogs as a comfortable alternative to house shoes, but I would have never pictured clogs as being haute couture. The spring/summer runway shows were full of clogs. Perhaps the most popular is this Chanel clog seen below. I don't think I'd have that much of a problem with the clog if it were for fall/winter 2010, but to me, spring does not scream CLOG.
