You're probably thinking, WTF, right? That looks like a hobo shoe?

I admit that I was a little bit taken aback when I first saw this shoe emerge on the scene, but it's definitely growing on me as I am always a fan of casual and comfortable shoes.

It's definitely very European chic.

It's been an unusually mild winter here in Tennessee. I haven't been able to wear any of my big coats and crazy leopard faux fur jackets. I always think that winter style is so fun, yet I doubt I will be able to partake in it this year.

Today I'm going to be one of those people who uses Pinterest photos for a whole blog post, but I promise I won't start doing this all the time!

A while back I stated that I would never wear a "top knot" (aka donut on top of your head hairstyle) with normal clothes. Well, I take back what I said. Tonight my hair was a hot mess and this was the only option.

I wore a Rebecca Taylor sweater, J.Brand Jeggings, TJ Maxx booties and a pashmina scarf.

Scarf Fun

Tonight I wanted to showcase a new Hermes scarf that I received as a gift from a sweet friend. I wore it with a plain white turtleneck and some navy J.Crew pants. I threw on this H&M Blazer until I started to feel a little bit like a flight attendant. I ended up just wearing no blazer and a heavy coat since it's a little cold out.

I love scarves! I always forget about little silk ones like this.

Tornadoes and Chia Seeds

Last night we had some bad weather. I got a little anxious and wore a helmet for a few hours. We ended up having 2 tornado warnings, but nothing touched down. And yes, that is a whistle. Always prepared!

In the midst of my storm anxiety last night, I wound up making these energy bites that I have seen on Pinterest and Designer Diapers blog. The recipe comes from this blog.

They are so good! I added Chia seeds to mine for added nutrition. I didn't take any pictures of the finished product because you all need to visit the website where the recipe originated for pretty pictures.

I have heard great things about chia seeds for nutrition. My friend Dishy Decorator loves chia seeds! You can read more info here. I actually make that chia seed pudding last night.

Tonight I wore a Pink Lilly Pulitzer poncho with JBrand Jeans and Loeffler Randall Riley boots. I had on a necklace with the poncho but it kept catching my hair, so I took it off and opted for bright Kendra Scott earrings.

I wanted to update you all on my makeup routine in case you're curious or in case you'd like to waste 20 minutes by watching my painfully slow video.

Here are just a few things I've ordered lately ...

First off, thanks to a sweet girl on twitter who alerted me, I ordered these adorable neon blazers from GAP with 30% off using the code NEWYOU. I got the hot pink and the neon green.

I've been really into organic and natural products lately that don't contain harsh chemicals. I was on the hunt for a face serum that was all-natural and my search led me to Rodin's Oilo Lusso face serum. I am excited to try it.

On another note, did you all see the Sh*t Fashion Girls Say youtube parody? I love this rendition of the "girls say" video.

I think we have all had the bang dilemma immediately followed by the bang hate phase.

A Whole Bunch of Random

I am loving all of the hot pink clothing items to hit the stores for the spring.

I have always loved wearing hot pink and it reminds me of this Loeffler Randall dress I had a few years ago that I've always regretted selling:

I was watching House Hunters last night and there was a girl searching for an old charming home. She didn't want anything that had been renovated because she said homes like that had "lost their charm". I tend to agree with her! We have a small little old house, but I love its charm! It still has the original kitchen and I think even if we were to redo the kitchen, I would keep the original cabinets because I love them.
My face has decided to break out like a teenager this week, so I am combating with the Epicuren Acne Sulfer mask. It works so well.
I am also trying to eat a lot healthier and I'm taking a stab AGAIN at being a vegetarian. I've been one before, but I normally find my way back to chicken. However, when I eat chicken, I literally pick at it and maybe eat one or two bites, so it's not worth it.

Golden Globes Fashion

Here are my Golden Globe Favorites:

I thought Reese looked amazing in Zac Posen. The red was a stray from her normal safe options and I love her hair down.

Madeline Stowe looked great as well. I love the dress structure and she looks amazing for being 53!

Love this Vera Wang dress on Sophia Verga. It looks like a lot of the dresses from last year's award season, but I still love it.

I actually love Michelle Williams' Jason Wu dress, but would love the look much better sans the headband.

I would have to give the worst dressed to Jessica Biel. I have no clue what she was wearing. It was completely see-thru and looked super matronly (perhaps foreshadowing her marriage to JT?). Either way, it was an overall bad look if you ask me. I just feel like she could have done so much better:

I don't normally find myself attracted to Lilly Pulitzer, but I couldn't pass up this jacket with SHOES on it! It was on super-sale for 69 dollars.
I have found a new Bond 9 fragrance that I love- Chelsea Flowers! I have an addiction to perfumes. I will find new ones that I love and then two weeks later they will give me a headache and I end up selling them on eBay. So far so good with Chelsea Flowers!

A lot of you had asked about make-up specifics from NYE, so here you go!
It's inevitable that every new year we get this renewed sense of self and feel like working out, cleaning, and trading our old habits for new ones. I am your typical cliche in that I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in ... ohhhhh two years. I must start somewhere, right? But don't get too excited. I walk at a brisk pace of 2.4 on the treadmill. LOL.
Let's move on to reality television, shall we? Yes, I watched the Bachelor last night. I know the show is stupid. I know the show is fake. I still watch for the staged cat fights and the clothes. Jenna the blogger is insane, but she's cute, right?
I also watched Brad Brad World on Bravo. It was okay, nothing special. I found myself losing interest and not paying attention. I do feel bad for him though because camp RZ seems to really be soured by him wanting to start a name for himself.
I loved Brandi Glanville on RHOBH last night. She is so funny and I can't get enough of her humor and one liners. Plus she hates attention whore Leann Rimes, who I can't stand, so that's a plus for her!

We just recently made some last minute NYE plans. This is the first year in a while that we've actually had NYE plans. I am normally a proponent of staying in and not partaking in the hype and fixed menu prices, but this year I am breaking out of my shell.

In true fashion, I looked last minute for a sequin dress and decided to go with Rent The Runway. Because really, how many times will you re-wear a sequin dress? Probably not many times. I will be wearing this Haute Hippie Sequin Sheath.

This was my "trugging" outfit this weekend. I wore orange J Brand jeggings, a Theory sweater and my trusty ole Uggs.
So, I have a bone to pick with you all. I have a good amount of "members" via the Google Friend Connect tool on the right hand side of this blog, but I have way less than half of that number on the PIPM FB page. Google is going to do away with the "friend connect" widget in March, so please go over and "like" the PIPM facebook page. I got a new fragrance last week. I decided on Bond. 9 Saks Fifth Avenue. I have wanted to try Bond fragrances, but just couldn't decide on a scent. What Bond fragrance do you wear?
Speaking of beauty products, did you all use the Sephora 20 dollar off coupon that ended yesterday? I got a new mascara and another smoky eye stick. I got a sample of the LORAC mascara.
I have been using an old dried up tube of Chanel's Imitable Intense. I am just not feeling it anymore.
While it does separate and lengthen, it doesn't volumize very well as seen above.

Are you all going to watch the NBC "Inside The Royal Marriage" special tonight? I definitely will be watching!
My favorite Slatkin candle scent right now is the Fresh Balsam. I am going to have to buy another one in a week's time if I keep burning this one.

Sorry there has been a lack of posting this week. I am currently out-of-town for work and have been for the past week.

I have encountered quite a week with traveling. My rental car mini-van (I always request the mini-vans, a whole other story) broke down in the parking lot of an office yesterday. Thinking it was just the battery, I called Enterprise roadside assistance who sent out a AAA service vehicle. Turns out it wasn't the battery so the mini-van had to be towed and I will be getting a new rental today. I rent cars so much for work, this was bound to happen sometime. Anyone have any funny rental car stories?

Wow! I was getting ready to write a "this and that" post when I noticed that this is my 1000th post! That is a lot of PIPM! Thanks for sticking around with me! I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Moving on to more important matters. I have loved this Stella McCartney chain bag for a long time now, but I just can't get down with the price. I love that she's all about using eco-friendly products and not using leather, but that much for "coated cotton" just seems stupid. I still love the bag though.
Some sweet friends got me a generous ShopBop gift card for my Birthday a couple of weeks ago. I went back and forth on what I wanted to use the gift card for. At first I wanted a DvF dress. Then I wanted some boots. Well, I finally decided on a pair of WGACA Vintage Chanel earrings and I looooove them! I also used the ShopBop promotion they were having last week and I got a total of 300 dollars off of the price! I ended up having to pay a small amount for these classic earrings.

Eye of the Beholder

I think the phrase "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is so true. There are times when I will think someone is so pretty and a friend will not. In that same vein, I will think someone is just "meh" that other people rave about. I thought it would be interesting to see who you all think is beautiful in your eyes.

I think Miranda Kerr is so pretty. I love it when brunettes have lighter eyes and I think her smile is amazing. Plus her dimples!

I have always thought that Sienna Miller has such a pretty face and beautiful hair!

January Jones is absolutely stunning in my opinion.

I've always had Jessica Simpson up there in my "most beautiful people" rankings. I think she so beautiful.

Beauty Favs [Old and New]

I think it's time for a good old fashioned beauty products post!

I am going to talk about some old and new favorites, so if you've already heard me talk about some of these I'm sorry!

I have been experiencing a break out for about 4 weeks now. I thought it might have been one of the products that I was using, so I abruptly stopped using products all together per the advice of Shasta. However, I am someone who needs to have at least some moisturizer on my face to feel normal, so I dug up this Oilatum Natural Face Repair that I ordered back in the spring and never really used. Wow, I really don't know why I never used this stuff because it's amazing! In just 4 short days with using the Oilatum, my break out is completely gone and my skin feels amazing. Did I mention it's only about 10 dollars as well? The bad thing is that you can only get it in the United Kingdom, but there are a couple of websites that ship to the US.
I was at TJ Maxx this past weekend and found this conditioner on the super-clearance rack for 8 dollars. I didn't have high expectations, but I bought it anyways since it was on sale. I am actually pleasantly surprised with it because it was able to detangle my rat's nest in the shower. It also didn't weigh my hair down like some deep conditioners do. Overall it was a great find!

Did you know that Target's carry Boots products? I had no clue until I was chatting with some people on twitter about Boots (a UK brand). Last night at Target I purchased their clay mask and really liked it! It goes on pretty thick and dries quickly. My face feel like a million bucks this morning.

Outfit + Black Friday Deals

This was my Thanksgiving OOTD. The sweater dress is from H&M and the boots are DvF.

Did you all score any Black Friday deals? I got a Dirt Devil vacuum at Target for 9 dollars. I also found an 800 dollar Theory leather jacket at TJ Maxx for $240.00. I was so excited about this deal! I have been looking for the perfect black leather jacket for a long time.

Note: this is the original tag, NOT what I paid for the jacket! Our TJ Maxx's never have Theory so I am thinking that someone must have returned this jacket from another TJ Maxx.

Weird Day

Yesterday I had some busy work to do, so I headed to my local Starbucks to sit and crank out some work. I had just dropped off the dogs at the groomer and needed to post up somewhere while I waited for them to finish. This particular Starbucks is very busy, so I was lucky to find a little table right in between two other tables. The tables at this Starbucks are a little too close to one another, but you kind of just have to make it work. When I say "kind of close" I really mean they are about 3 inches away from the next little table.
I squeezed my way in to a table between a young couple and 2 older men. I whip out my laptop and get to work and can't help but notice the young couple is literally rubbing on each other and making inappropriate gestures. At one point I had to get up to plug in my laptop charger and I kindly said, "excuse me" and they didn't even notice. So odd. Don't even get me started on strange PDA in public. Next, to my left were the two older men who looked like regulars. They were sitting with newspapers and having what seemed like an educated conversation until a train chugged by right outside the window. It was soon after the train that they got into a heated debate about how fast the train was going and where it was going. Finally, the affectionate couple got up to leave and I thought that I finally might be able to concentrate on my work. Oh no, next up we had your standard run of the mill pyramid scheme meeting. I seem to always end up sitting within an earshot of pyramid scheme meet-ups. Last time it was a popular make-up brand that shall remain nameless. Yesterday it was some juice company. "Oh, you can make thousands in just a couple of weeks ..."

As if the day couldn't get any more odd, I get a call from my groomer that went a little something like this:

"Um, Miss Megan, don't be alarmed, but there's been a fire here in our strip mall and we've evacuated. I got all the dogs out and I'm going to need you to come pick up your dogs and I will have to finish them tomorrow."

Of course, I packed up my stuff like a mad women and screeched out of the Starbucks parking lot going about 50 mph. I got to the street that the Grooming place is located on and the police had it blocked off so that the THREE fire trucks could get to the strip mall. The cop acted all huffy and told me I could NOT go past their barricade. This is when crazy Megan came out. I have a tendency to get a little crazy sometimes and I immediately turned on my Ramona Singer crazy eyes and said, "I HAVE TO PICK MY DOGS UP NOW!". We can leave the story about one time when I actually busted through a security barricade for another day.

They let me pull into a nearby parking lot where I met our hilarious groomer who was all like, "oh girrrrrl you are the only dog parent who has immediately come to pick up their dog!". She took me over to the area where all of the dogs were howling and yelping from little carriers. I was actually very impressed with her ability to get all the dogs out of the facility and into dog carriers. My poor little pups were so traumatized and to make matters worse, they had half haircuts!!!!

So there's my weird day for you all.

Can you all believe I had NEVER seen a Twilight movie or read a book of the saga? People always told me to read the books and I always put off reading them.

I spent my Friday night watching all three of the previously released Twilight movies. I feel like my life is forever changed by indulging myself in the Twilight world. Obsessed! I am totally Team Edward if you can't tell.

I am now all caught up and ready to watch Breaking Dawn part one!

Having a Twihard marathon makes me want to scrub off the remnants of my spray tan and put on pasty white make-up.

I've been seeing so much of "Elle Fanning" lately. It's like she just popped up out of nowhere. And hello, she's like 12 years old! Okay, well she's 13, but still, she might as well be 12 years old. She is always at some high-fashion party or in some risque magazine shoot. Am I the only one thinking she is too young for this stuff?

PS- what in the hell is she wearing here? Are those pajama pants? Elle is on the right while big sister Dakota is on the left.

Next up is ole Vicky Beckham. Why does she always wear such tight dresses to fly? That CANNOT be comfortable! You can look stylish without looking like you're in a straight jacket. I would take that cute baby, though.

And she's trying to wear leather leg warmers here. I just don't know what to think about it.

Lastly, does anyone wish Kim Kardashian would just go away to some private island for like 2 years and stop appearing in magazines and on celeb sites?

Christmas in November

This happened this weekend. I busted out all of my Christmas decorations and went to town. I just couldn't wait until Thanksgiving this year.

I still have a lot of work to do, but at least I got a head start! Surprisingly, I got a lot of my little decorations at Big Lots! It's an adventure to trek to the Big Lots near our house, but it's always worth it because they have really cheap decorations. And let's be honest, who wants to spend a lot of money on seasonal decor?
This weekend consisted of face masks and scrunchies.
It's officially my Birthday week! Any other Birthday girls this week? My Birthday is Wednesday the 16th!

Fur For Thought ...

Recently I wore this furry vest with a plain black dress. Miss P was really intrigued with the fur.

- I started blogging back in late 2007 when there really weren't a plethora of blogs around. I have noticed lately that blogs are literally a dime a dozen and it doesn't quite feel as "special" to have a blog anymore. Does anyone else feel this way or does that make sense to you?
So I pose some questions for you kitties- What makes you like a blog and keep going back and/or following said blog? What do you like about layouts, what do you not like about layouts? Do you actually like blogs where people get all "professional photo-shoot" on you like you're looking at a magazine? Do you like photo-shopped collages of items? My pictures suck, I realize this, but quite honestly, I would feel like a complete toolbag if I had someone taking pictures of me outside. And really it's just more convenient to take iPhone pictures. I think I may need to invest in a tripod for my living room.

I am looking to make some changes with my blog. Right now I feel like I am stuck in a rut. There are simply too many fashion bloggers. It seems like over the past year that is just the new "it thing" to blog about. Although I love fashion and write about it quite often, that is not my life, but I try not to get personal on here either because that's just not my style.

Anywho, let me know what you think. Suggestions? Advice?

How A Spray Tan Can Change Your Life

Today I got my first spray tan in probably 6 or 8 months. In college I had standing weekly spray tan appointments. I don't know what happened to me, but I fell out of my cycle and have spent the past few months pale and feeling like the crusty old turd.
I'm a new woman with my spray tan! I went to Extravaganza Memphis and it was great!
Tonight I wore the blue Target jeggings, a C&C California Poncho and Prada pumps. Sorry, but Rob cut off my head in these pictures. Oops.

The Sweater Dress

The sweater dress is by far one of my favorite things about fall and winter. It's so easy and versatile to throw on with boots.

I saw one of my friends wearing this H&M sweater dress and immediately asked her to buy me one (since Memphis is too boughetto to have an H&M). She was so sweet and scouted one out and sent it my way!
I am obsessed with this sweater dress. I would buy it in every color if it were available. It was so comfy and it felt like I was wearing a snuggie all day. Sure, it may look like I am wearing a potato sack, but I can't begin to tell you how warm and cozy it was!

- So this weekend Rob got me addicted to the AMC hit show, The Walking Dead. Holy Moly, what a good show! There have been few shows in the past that I get completely addicted to and have to watch the full season in one day, and this was definitely one of them. It has a LOST feel to it, which was one of my favorite shows. I highly recommend this show. It's not quite as "gruesome" as the trailer makes it out to be. It has a lot of good storylines, characters, and love stories.

- I might be one of the only people who looks forward to the time change. I actually like that it gets dark earlier because that gives me all the more reason to be a recluse and hibernate. I guess I'm weird.
- I have already started listening to Christmas music. I love Spotify and have the Michael Buble Christmas album on repeat.
- Speaking of Christmas, I have to get our Christmas card photo taken soon. I am just going to have one of my friends take it for us, but I keep putting it off! I think I might just use this photo to mess with people:

- If you follow me on twitter, you know of my love for Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden (aka the teen bride). These two are complete whack jobs, but I really can't get enough! Girlfriend LOVES the clear bra straps, stripper heels, and airbrushed abs.

There's talk of them getting a reality show, and I have to admit that I would probably watch.

I just cannot get over her odd behavior in interviews. It really cracks me up to watch.

- Is anyone else having a "shedding" period right now? I swear I could make a weave out of the stray hairs that I pull out during the day and in the shower. I know that humans can lose up to 100 hairs a day, but I am pretty sure I am approaching that 100 a day mark.

I take a million things for hair growth, but nothing really seems to help with keeping hair attached to the follicle.
Maybe I should start on a wig with the hairs?

My ultimate go-to lately has been the whole "scarf with dress" look. The weather is chilly in the mornings and warms up considerably during the day. I love to just throw on a scarf with a dress and pair it with tights and boots or pumps.

I found the most amazing J.Brand-like jeggings at Target of all places! Right now they only have royal blue and red, but I have a feeling they might get more colors. I got the royal blue pair. Just a warning, they run extremely small!
ZOMG! The Holiday cups are already at Starbucks! I enjoyed a Peppermint Mocha this morning and it was amazing.

Do you ever have one of those weeks where you come in contact with so many crazy people that you think that there must be a full moon out? Well this week is the "full moon" crazy week for me. It turns out that there isn't a full moon, but a new moon instead. I am starting to think that the new moon can also bring out the lunatics.
I am also having a week where I feel like an old crusty turd. I can't take credit for that lovely term; my friend Shasta says that all the time. What is it about some weeks that just make you feel old and ugly? I am noticing fine lines and wrinkles. My hair is a hot mess and will no do anything. I hate growing out my bangs. I feel like my skin is so dull. Wah wah wahhh.

- Last week I wore what I like to call a "throw it all together" look. Basically, this just consists of items of clothing that are clean and readily accessible.
- I do, however, love these Tibi Platform booties with the bow adornment. They are surprisingly very comfortable.
- Have you all smelled Diane von Furstenberg's new fragrance "Diane" yet? I got a free sample last week at Nordstrom and it smells so good!

- When I was in St. Louis I purchased this Donna Karan Cashmere Mist deodorant at the recommendation of the sales associate. She said it's the best deodorant she's ever used and it lasts for a long time. I must say, I love this deodorant! Not only does it smell better than others, it really does last a long time!

It's finally Friday! This has been a long week for me. I have been traveling a lot for work, which is all fun and games until this happens to your iPhone:
There is one particular area of Tennessee (cough, Northwestern Tennessee, Cough) that really jacks with my iPhone GPS. I will just be trotting along and boom, the GPS just poops out. Thank goodness I have a pretty good sense of direction, because most times I can navigate myself to where I need to go. I should probably invest in a GPS thing for my rental cars, but I really don't want to.

Yesterday I wore a Rebecca Taylor Leopard coat that I have been wanting for years! I finally found one this year and I was delighted to snatch it up!

I am also carrying my early (like a month early) Birthday present from my parentals. I decided to go with a Goyard St. Louis tote, only because I've been wanting one for a goooooood 4 years or so. If you've been following my blog since the beginning, I wrote a post in 2008 about wanting a Goyard tote!

I love it! It's so lightweight and comes with this neat little wallet on a string. Doesn't get much better than that!

- So after the post yesterday, a lot of you asked how I would wear the Old Navy booties. Well, I wore them today!

- Miss P wanted you to know that she likes to lay on my cheetah jacket.
- I have become anxiety cat today. I started getting paranoid about carbon monoxide poisoning. Really? Where did this paranoia come from? I have no idea. I just turned on the heat for the first time, so that's probably where it came from. I promptly went to Target and got one of these puppies. What is wrong with me??!?!?

Welp, I'm officially forcing fall fashions. Despite it being 80 degrees today, I wore booties with leggings. A cold front is coming through today and it couldn't be more welcomed ...
I am wearing an Alice and Olivia Oatmeal sweater cardigan with black leggings and a random TJ Maxx find (booties) from this season.

I got the Chanel Fall Eye pot in Illusoire and I love it. I am planning on doing a vlog about it for Monday, so get excited.

Don't worry, I'm still obsessed with Kate Middleton. I stalk the Daily Mail every day for pictures and sightings of the Duchess. I am also obsessed with "What Kate Wore" and their Facebook page which often has up to the moment pictures and commentary on the Duchess.

She looked perfect today at the opening of the cancer ward of the Royal Mardsen. Her blowout is PERFECTION! Gah, I just want to skin her and wear her like a fur coat!
I just know we'd be friends IRL. It is my goal to get to London within the next couple of years so I can go on a Kate stalking trip ;)

Have y'all seen Revenge yet? It is sooooooooo good. It's definitely my new favorite fall show. I honestly haven't seen a show this good in a long time. Well, there was always LOST, but that was different kind of show. Oddly enough, I rarely get into "girly" shows like GG and One Tree Hill and all of that. I am much more the CSI, Law and Order, 48 Hours Mystery type, but this Revenge show has me hooked! It mixes a little bit of mystery and murder with romance. Have you all seen it? Boy do I love a new handbag. I am having a hard time deciding on a fall handbag. Everything is so pricey these days! I've pretty much given up on Chanel as their price increases are absolutely insane. I still love LV, but sooooo many people have LV bags and I do like to be different.

I have been out-of-town since last Wednesday for a work conference in New Orleans! I definitely had a blast and I am already missing the big easy. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities and even 4 days there wasn't enough time to do everything that I wanted this trip.

I am such a people watcher by nature. I can sit for hours and just watch people walk by in crowded venues or airports. This conference was right up my alley as there were 4 thousand people there from all over and we all had to wear nametags with our city and state. I was in people watching heaven the entire trip.

Per usual, I had to go to Cafe Du Monde for Beignets and a Cafe Au Lait:
And I had to show my co-workers the St. Charles Street Car ride:
I had my fortune read at Jackson Square. Miss Rose used a combination of Tarot Cards, Palm Readings, and Crystals. It was freaky accurate!
I got some new shoes:
And some new make up at Saks:
While I was at the Chanel counter I asked to sniff the new Chanel Number 19 Poudre fragrance. I am now obsessed and ordered a bottle last night. It is perfect mix of powdery and strong. I have found lately that I can only tolerate powder based perfumes.

The conference social was held at Mardi Gras World, aka where they store all of the mardi gras floats during the year. It was fun to get to see all of the floats and the new floats being built.
I dressed rather boring since it was a conference. It was hot outside, but freezing in the conference meeting rooms.

I wore a new Target for Missoni dress with leggings and painful Chanel ballet flats:
Since flats were not my friend this trip, I often wore my cowboy boots since I could wear them with socks. My feet were killing me the entire trip.

This is such a blah time of the year. There is nothing to wear. I feel pale. I want to wear sweaters, but it's too hot. I hate all of my clothes. wah wah wahhh.

This is something I threw together tonight for dinner. If I had my way, I would live in cotton dresses and moo moos.

Mixed Bag

Hello Kitties. Speaking of kitties, I am obsessed with this Victoria Beckham cat print dress:
So, I was reading the US Weekly Style edition and I saw these cute shoes from PAYLESS!
I don't think I've been to Payless since I had to get a pair of bridesmaid shoes specified by the bride. I thought Payless was supposed to be cheap? My total with tax was 60 dollars! They look a little cheapo in person, but I think they will be good traipsing shoes for winter.
Y'all, I need to SHUT IT DOWN with going to targets to look for more Missoni stuff. It's like a game for me! Yesterday I found that one of our Targets had restocked some of the home stuff. I got these bins.

And as if I needed another pair of flats:
Can you believe those bug bites? So nasty. Something went to town on my foot!

Neiman Marcus had a beauty event last week. I am SUCH a sucker for any "free gift with purchase" event. And of course, I love the free samples and want to purchase them all.
I got this leopard tote with the free gift as well. Our dogs hate being carried in purses.
I have a problem with buying coats. I bought these two this past week alone. Yes, that's the kids Missoni floral trench. Don't hate.

Transitioning a romper that you would normally wear in the summer is easy! I simply mixed it with a sweater cardigan and pumps. You could even wear tights with a romper if it were cold enough.

Thursday Randomness

I'm still going to talk about the Missoni for Target today- get over it. I, for one, have always loved Missoni and think it's so cool that they did a line for Target, regardless of it selling out or not. I get that not everyone likes the Missoni look. I also get that Missoni for Target is not real Missoni. However, I happen to like it and personally don't care if everyone will be wearing the same Missoni for Target dress- it's all in how you wear it, duh!

Why would anyone hate on people for getting excited over inexpensive clothes? Are you out wearing real Missoni? Probably not. But wait, if someone were wearing real Missoni I'm sure you would be talking about how they probably can't afford it and such. Don't make me feel all stabby now! Just standing up for my fellow fashion-obsessed girls! And no, this isn't about one specific person, I just witnessed several Missoni for Tarjay bashings over the past few days.

Speaking of, here's how I wore the little heels:
And just when you thought I couldn't get enough, I went back for more! I just love this rose print and decided that I would be able to wear the kids jacket in the XL. I tried on the Large in a store and it was a little tight across the back, but the XL is on its way to me thanks to a kind person whose store had the XL.
I promise I'll stop talking about this stuff soon. Maybe not.

Obligatory Missoni For Target Post

Oh hey, did you hear that Missoni launched a line for Target? LOL. DUH!
Apparently there were lines at nearly every Target and there were fights among women who were trying to steal from other people's carts. I think the cops had to be called in one California Target.

And this lady was apparently going to sell this stuff on eBay?
OMG people! There were so many people on the Target website that it literally blew up and has been down ALL day. Luckily, I placed my order at 6 AM and successfully received a confirmation email.

Just because I'm extra insane, I decided to hit up a Target store as well and I scored some items that I didn't get online.

Here are the things that I got in store:

I really wanted some of the home stuff, but I am so fashion crazy that I'd rather have clothes than home decor.

I am actually impressed with the quality. I have a real Missoni Poncho and it's very comparable.

Girls Weekend

This weekend Shasta, Dana, and Caroline came to spend the weekend with me in Memphis. We had so much fun and had such a chill weekend.

We spent Saturday at the spa and had a lovely lunch by Napa Cafe and had awesome facials from Mona Spa and Laser Center.
I took them to some awesome Memphis boutiques, but leave it to us to be goofy at TJ Maxx:
Saturday night we had dinner and ventured out downtown.

I was being funny doing a "photo shoot" one night while wearing a Tibi blouse, Anlo Jeans, and J.Crew Valentina heels.
I also wore a Tibi dress and the J.Crew Valentina pumps another night.
Last night I wore a DvF romper and TB Revas.
It was a great weekend! I am whooped!

So, I said I was in a hair funk last week. Well, this week I made an executive decision to just text my stylist (yes, we text) to tell her to make me appointment and she could just do whatever she wanted. Sometimes it's good to just go with the flow and let an expert do their magic!

I just love my stylist, April at Pageboy Salon. She's so talented with color and knows her stuff!

Outfit Mega Post- Fall Edition!

Oh goodness, friends! In the past three days we have experienced a cold front here in the south and it's downright chilly in the mornings! Okay, maybe not chilly, but there's definitely a breeze.

I have been working my arse off, but managed to snap some outfit photos.

For a casual night I wore a Rebecca Taylor t-shirt, love quotes scarf, J Brand 811 jeans in seal, and Prada suede bow flats.
Next I wore a J.Crew blouse, J. Crew Minnies, and J.Crew Valentina pumps. I also wore a new Brave necklace and a Tibi coat.

I was so excited to wear a scarf and coat.
I am obsessed with the J.Crew "teddie" dress. It's amazing in person and I definitely want it in every color now. I wore it with a new Brave necklace and the J.Crew Pia Calf Hair Leopard pumps. I realize that I am a J.Crew whore right now. I told you, it's a love hate relationship.

I'm sorry my pictures always suck. I literally harass my boo to take them with my iPhone before I leave the house. I read a zillion awesome fashion blogs where they frolic outside in wheat fields for OOTD posts and I often wonder 1) how they find the time to do that and 2) again, how they find the time to do that. I even have a super-nice camera and don't hardly ever use it because it's too time consuming. Maybe I should work on that. Nice pictures look so much better. I can't ever say that I'll be posing next to a street cafe though.

Recently, I became aware of the super cute Fashion Editor of Marie Claire, Zanna Roberts Rassi. First of all, how cute is the name Zanna; it is short for Suzanna. I just love her impecable casual style. She seems to look effortless and chic in every photo.

She recently got married and her wedding dress is amazing, not to mention her ring. You can check out her wedding pics here.

Her pictures make me want to pack my bags and move to Paris or NYC to work in fashion!

A whole lot of randomness today.

- Anyone else have raging allergies lately? I am a nasal spray hoarder. I collect samples from my allergist appointments.
- Apparently the internetz thinks that I am depressed. The advertising that reads your recently visited sites and searches really creeps me out. I can understand shopping ads, because HELLO, we all know that I love to shop. I do have anxiety, so I can understand getting the occasional anxiety ad, but cat anxiety? That's a new one! I don't even have a cat!
- I was really busy yesterday, so I couldn't get a full outfit shot, but I wanted to show y'all my new fuscia agate necklace by Brave. I love it!
- I got the Saks Fall catalog today and I am still obsessed with these pricey Prada wedges. Also, Tory Burch has an awesome pair that I love!
- I kind of want these Madewell polka dotted pants. Sassy.

My outfit today was really low maintenance. I left the house in a hurry and threw something together last minute. Don't you just love those mornings? I busted out little short booties. I really don't currrrr that it's still in the 80's. Fall4Life.
I got some new baubles from Brave Designs. Obsessed with the chunky necklaces that will go perfectly with my chunky necklace collection.
Wanting a hair update? I don't have one. My hair is currently a hot mess, but I just don't know what I want to do next. The "bang clip" is out in full force. Seriously, don't ever let me get bangs again- hold me to it, okay?
